Jamestown (CSI) – The community is invited to come together for a special summer BBQ fundraiser benefiting the Jamestown Public Schools Nutrition Department on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Hansen Arts Park, located at the corner of 1st Avenue and 2nd Street.

This event, hosted by White Orchid Beauty Bar, aims to raise vital funds to support local students by helping cover costs for the JPS Summer Meals Program, the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs, and paying down negative student lunch accounts. These programs ensure that every student has access to nutritious meals, regardless of their financial situation.

Guests can enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner while supporting a cause that directly impacts the health and well-being of children in the Jamestown community. The event promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with great food and a great purpose.
