FALL RECREATIONAL SOCCER LEAGUE
FOCUS:
**For kids who want to have FUN playing soccer outdoors with their friends and classmates.
**
Players are teamed by age and gender and coached by parent volunteers who enjoy interacting with children.
AGE & GENDER:
Ages 5-12, boys and girls
SEASON DATES:
First practices start THE WEEK OF Sept 17, with final games on Sept 23 (5 weeks)
PRACTICE:
One practice per week, as scheduled by your child’s coach. Most coaches choose a Mon, Tues, or Thurs evening
GAMES:
Rec League Games played Sunday afternoons.
WHERE:
Hillcrest Soccer Complex
PROVIDED:
Reversible blue/white jersey (returning players are encouraged to wear or return their jersey from previous season)
REQUIRED:
Shin guards & water bottle (available at local sporting goods stores/departments)
COACHES:
*Most of our coaches are parent volunteers who enjoy sports and interacting with kids.
*
We invite our previous season coaches to return, and new parents to give it a try
*A “no lines, no lectures” every-player-gets-a-ball at practice approach is encouraged
*
Coaches receive a pre-season training session from JSC Director of Coaching Donovan Gibson.
COST:
$40 by Sept 3, $50 afterwards. Each additional children 15% off. No refunds after 1st week.

AFTER YOU REGISTER:
Expect to hear from your child’s coach regarding first practice several days before the season starts. Sunday game schedules will be posted on our website and at our clubhouse windows one week before the start of Sunday games.
OTHER FALL SOCCER OPTIONS:
–JSC also offers Fall Competitive/Academy Training Sept 3 to Oct 19 for ages 8-15 for $70. Train to play soccer at a higher level. See

COACH VOLUNTEERS are the foundation of Recreational soccer. This is a great way to spend time with your child and his/her peers.
A soccer background is not necessary (most of us do not have one). Training will be provided to make this a fun and enjoyable experience for you and your team. Only involves one practice and one game per week.
