Madison SD – The Valley City State volleyball team has won its last two matches and three of the last four. Wednesday, they look to extend that streak on the road at (RV) Dakota State.

The Vikings defeated Bismarck State and Dickinson State in four sets last week to improve to 6-8 overall and 4-5 in the Frontier Conference.

Macy Fridgen comes into the contest with a team leading 154 kills. Against Dickinson State she had a career high 20 kills. Danielle Hagler has 135 kills and Morgan Freije has 114 forming a tough trio at the net.

Madden Bogenreif and Gracie Schumacher have shared setter duties this season. Bogenreif has 269 assists this season while Schumacher has 264.

Defensively, JayCee Richter has been steady at the Libero position with 331 digs. She has moved into third place all-time in school history with 1,794 career digs.

With contributions from many young players, the Vikings are looking to make a push as they wrap up the first half of the Frontier Conference schedule with (RV) Dakota State on Wednesday and #5 Bellevue on Thursday.
