NDHP – On November 11, 2025, at approximately 1:25 p.m., a 2025 Chevrolet Blazer driven by a 47-year-old male of Rugby ND was traveling southbound on Highway 3 near mile marker 189. A 2005 Sterling LT9500 driven by a 88-year-old female of Esmond, ND was traveling westbound from a gravel township road and entered Highway 3. The Sterling struck the Blazer in a T-bone collision. The female sustained serious injuries and was transported by Rugby Ambulance to a local medical facility. The male was not injured. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
