Valley City ND – The Valley will come alive with holiday cheer on Saturday, November 29, as the community gathers for a full day of festive events celebrating Christmas in the Valley. From warm drinks to twinkling lights, families and friends will find something for everyone to enjoy.
The day begins with the Coffee & Cocoa Crawl, taking place from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at participating locations around town. Residents are invited to explore local shops, sip seasonal favorites, and get into the holiday spirit.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., children and families can stop by the Radio Station Lobby for Santa Pictures, with another session also starting at the same time. A Meal Fundraiser will also be held at the lobby from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., offering visitors the chance to support community programs while enjoying a delicious bite.
At 6:00 p.m., the holiday magic moves outdoors as the Parade of Lights makes its way down Central Avenue, filling the street with illuminated floats and glowing decorations. Immediately following the parade, the community will gather at Veterans Park for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, a cherished tradition that officially welcomes the season.
Santa will return after the tree lighting for additional photo opportunities at the Radio Station Lobby, continuing until 8:00 p.m.
With activities spanning the entire afternoon and evening, Christmas in the Valley promises to bring joy, holiday spirit, and community togetherness to celebrate the start of the Christmas season.
