SMP Health Ava Maria invites community members, families, and care partners to attend an informational session with Dr. Megan Dooley, owner of Innovative Therapy Solutions and Consulting. The session will be held Monday, January 5, at 5:30 p.m. at SMP Health Ava Maria, located at 501 19th Street NE in Jamestown.

This educational event will focus on helping families better understand and support individuals living with dementia. Topics to be covered include understanding dementia-related behaviors, identifying triggers and unmet needs, practical strategies for responding to behaviors, navigating the healthcare system and different levels of care, and advocacy tips for families and care partners.

The session is designed to provide practical tools, insight, and guidance for anyone caring for or supporting a loved one with dementia. Coffee and cookies will be provided, and all interested community members are welcome to attend.
