Indoor Snowball Fight Kicks Off Cabin Fever Days at TRAC

Cabin Fever Days will begin with a burst of winter fun as the community is invited to an Indoor Snowball Fight at the TRAC Bubble on January 30, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. This come and go event is open to all ages and offers a playful way to stay active and beat the winter blues in a warm indoor setting.

Participants can run, throw, and dodge their way through a blizzard of soft snowballs in a safe and energetic environment. Friends and families are encouraged to join together for friendly competition and lots of laughs. A special area will also be set up for younger children, where they can practice their aim by tossing snowballs at fun targets designed just for them.

Admission is free for TRAC members, while non members can participate with the purchase of a day pass.

Water Balloon Dodge Ball Brings Splash of Fun to TRAC Pool

Winter fun will continue at TRAC on January 31, 2026, with Water Balloon Dodge Ball, a wet and wild twist on the classic game. Teams of up to five players will compete in the pool, making for fast paced action and plenty of laughs as players try to dodge flying water balloons.

Age divisions will include groups for ages 9 to 10, 11 to 13, 14 to 18, and adults, giving everyone a chance to compete against players in their own age group. Participants are encouraged to sign up early and get ready for a unique pool competition that is sure to be a highlight of Cabin Fever Days.

Admission is free for TRAC members, while non members can participate with the purchase of a day pass. Event time will be announced.

Sled Building Competition and Race Set for Bunker Hill

Creative builders and racing fans are invited to the Sled Building Competition and Race at the Bunker on January 31, 2026. Registration will begin at 11:00 am, with sled building to follow and racing taking place once the sleds are complete. Participants are encouraged to save their cardboard and bring plenty of duct tape to construct their sleds on site.

After building, racers will test their creations by racing down Bunker Hill. Hot cocoa, smore kits, and fresh popcorn will be available for purchase and fire pits will be lit to keep everyone warm while enjoying the event. This activity requires at least five inches of snow on the ground in order to take place.

Big P I G Tournament Brings Parent Child Teams to the Court

Families are invited to take part in the Big P I G Tournament on February 1, 2026, at 1:00 pm. This event puts a fun twist on the traditional basketball game of P I G by featuring parent and child teams. Any parent figure combination is welcome, including mother and son, father and daughter, or other family pairings.

Families with more than one child may register multiple teams. Teams will register based on the child’s current grade level. Brackets will be created after registration closes on January 23, and start times will be posted online. Registration will open soon.

The cost is twenty dollars per team, with all proceeds supporting the JPRD Scholarship Fund.

Duck Races Make a Splash at TRAC Pool

Duck races will take place at the TRAC pool from February 2 through February 7, 2026, with races held Monday through Friday at noon. Each day, the first duck to make it down the slide will be declared the winner and will advance to the finals held on Saturday at noon.

The final winning duck will receive fifty percent of the total entry fees, while the remaining funds will support the JPRD Scholarship Fund. Ducks are limited and must be purchased at the TRAC front desk during the week prior to the races.

The cost is five dollars per duck, twenty dollars for five ducks, or fifty dollars for a guaranteed spot in the finals.

Snow Sculpture Competition Brings Winter Art to Hansen Arts Park

Snow artists of all ages are invited to show off their creativity at the Snow Sculpture Competition on February 7, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hansen Arts Park. Participants will compete to build the most impressive snow sculpture, with prizes awarded for the top creations.

Attendees are encouraged to dress warmly and bring snow shovels and building tools to help shape their sculptures. Hot chocolate and smore kits will be available for purchase during the event. This competition requires at least five inches of snow on the ground in order to take place.

White Elephant Bingo Offers Family Fun at the Bunker

Families are invited to wrap up Cabin Fever Days with White Elephant Bingo at the Bunker on February 8, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. This family friendly event combines classic bingo with a fun gift exchange twist.

Participants are encouraged to bring a white elephant gift, such as an unused or unwanted holiday gift. Each gift brought may be exchanged for a bingo card, and additional bingo cards may be purchased. Players will have the chance to win and swap gifts while enjoying an afternoon of games and laughter.
