Randy A. Stewart, of Gackle, ND and formerly of Jamestown, age 71, died Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Gackle Care Center in Gackle.

Randy was born July 18, 1954 at Bloomington, IN. The family moved to Bismarck in 1968 where he attended school, including some auto body classes at BSC. He worked the oilfields in North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. Later he worked construction, having to retire early due to a fall.

One of Randy’s passions included fishing.

Randy is survived by his siblings, Jim Sanders; Mike (Lori) Stewart; Josey McCormick; Penny McDonald; Mike Rodenkirck; and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 siblings, Robin Stewart & Terry Dewerref.

Randy has been cremated and no services are planned.
