Get ready to dribble, shoot, and HAM it up at one of the most creative family events of the season the Big P-I-G Tournament. This March Madness–inspired competition puts a delicious twist on basketball fun, pairing parents and kids together for a bracket-style showdown filled with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of pork-themed flair.
Modeled after the excitement of the NCAA tournament, the Big P-I-G Tournament will feature teams competing through the Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final 4, and ultimately the championship round — cleverly dubbed the HAM-pionship. It’s friendly competition at its finest, designed to bring families together on the court.
A Team Effort
The event requires co-ed teams made up of one parent (or parent figure) and one child. Divisions are based on the child’s grade level, ensuring fair and fun competition for all participants.
Divisions include:
- Baby Back Ribs – Grades 1–3
- Tenderloin – Grades 4–6
- Porkchop – Grade 7 and up
Whether you’re cheering on a first grader in the Baby Back Ribs bracket or watching a seasoned middle schooler in the Porkchop division, every game promises energy and excitement.
Prizes Worth Squealing About
Winners in each division won’t just earn bragging rights — they’ll take home ham. In addition, a special “Ham It Up” Award will be presented to the team that shows the most spirit, creativity, or over-the-top costume flair. From matching outfits to pig-themed accessories, teams are encouraged to bring personality along with their jump shots.
