Shirley A. Stoller, 85, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Tuesday morning, March 10, 2026 at SMP Health – Ave Maria, Jamestown.
Shirley was born April 20, 1940, in Carrington, ND, the daughter of Clayton R. and Elizabeth (Boyce) Kuderling. She attended country school and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1958. Shirley married Ed Stoller on October 19, 1958 at Pingree, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where Shirley worked at Woolworth’s, Miller’s Fairway Foods, J.C. Penny, Wilhelm’s, Vining’s, and the Gladstone. She also baked many wedding cakes, sewed many dresses and clothes, and raised five children. Shirley lived in Sioux Falls, SD for four years and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown. Ed died January 20, 2004. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her children, Deb Rott of Nortonville, ND, Mike (Kerrie) Stoller of Jamestown, Teresa (Mark) Bollinger of Jamestown, and Cari (Travis) Spier of Sioux Falls, SD; daughter-in-law, Ruby Stoller of Arlington, WA, 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Fred Kuderling of Jamestown; many nieces and nephews; and best friend & sister-in-law, Pat Stoller.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jerry Stoller; son-in-law, Leland Rott; and sisters, Faith Priebe, Clara Garza, Ruth Onher, Edith Williams.
Funeral Service – 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Susan Haukaas officiating.
Prayer Service – 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, at the church.
Visitation – One hour before each service at the church.
Burial – Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, with a luncheon to follow at the church fellowship hall.
