Puzzle lovers and friendly competitors alike are invited to put their skills to the test at an exciting Jigsaw Puzzle Competition happening Saturday, April 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at The Lodge, located just across from the Alfred Dickey Public Library.
This fast-paced, team-based event challenges groups of 2–4 participants to race against the clock—and each other—to complete the same 500-piece puzzle within two hours. Whether you’re a seasoned puzzler or just enjoy a good challenge, this competition promises a fun and engaging afternoon.
Teams will compete for bragging rights and a prize awarded to the first group to finish. If no team completes the puzzle in time, the victory will go to the team with the fewest pieces remaining—so every piece counts!
Participants are encouraged to gather their dream team, choose a creative team name, and designate a team captain to register. At least one member of each team must be 18 years or older, and the captain will serve as the main point of contact for event updates.
With space limited to just 20 teams, early registration is recommended. Best of all, there’s no entry fee, making it an accessible and fun outing for friends, families, and puzzle enthusiasts.
Light snacks and water will be provided to keep competitors fueled as they sort, strategize, and snap pieces into place.
Think you have what it takes? Bring your patience, your best strategy—and maybe your “edge pieces first” approach—and get ready to piece together a winning performance!
