The University of Jamestown is set to host an unforgettable evening of elegance, entertainment, and philanthropy at its 40th Annual Dine & Bid fundraiser on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Harold Newman Arena.
This year’s theme, “A Knight in Oz,” invites guests to step into the enchanting world inspired by the Emerald City. Attendees are encouraged to embrace the theme with attire that reflects the sparkle, sophistication, and magic of Oz, creating a truly immersive experience.
The evening begins with doors opening at 4:00 PM, followed by hors d’oeuvres and a social hour at 5:00 PM. Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM, setting the stage for a night filled with excitement and generosity.
At its heart, the Dine & Bid is dedicated to raising funds for student scholarships. Organizers emphasize that community support plays a vital role in helping students achieve their educational goals and create brighter futures.
Guests will have the opportunity to participate in both live and silent auctions. Live auction items will be available exclusively during the event, while the silent auction will open online the week of April 11 and conclude at 8:30 PM that Saturday evening. Participants do not need to be present to bid on silent auction items, making it easy for supporters near and far to contribute.
With a blend of community spirit, creative flair, and a meaningful mission, “A Knight in Oz” promises to be a memorable night in support of the university’s students.
