Pearl Pritchert, 95, passed away peacefully at CHI St. Alexis Health Carrington Medical Center on April 9, 2026, after a short stay at Golden Acres Manor.
Pearl Pritchert, the daughter of Earl and Susan (Cowan) Randall, was born March 28, 1931, in Maida, ND where she attended school. In 1948 she moved to Valley City where she worked at the café and Red Owl.
She married Noel Pritchert on July 19,1951. In 1958 Noel’s job with the Soo Lines Railroad took them to Rosholt, SD and then various towns in Minnesota and North Dakota. In 1970, they moved to Leal, ND where she ran the Post Office for 8 years. In 1983, they moved back to Valley City where she worked for Drug Plastic until she retired.
Pearl enjoyed volunteering at Epworth United Methodist Church, playing cards with family, and watching the Minnesota Twins.
Pearl is survived by her son, Steven, a daughter Diane (Rusty) Bjorland, two granddaughters, Lynnette (Chris) Heaney, Heidi (Mike) Brevig, three great grandkids, Connor Bjorland, Taylor Heaney, Charlie Heaney and several nieces and nephews.
Pearl is proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and a daughter in law.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Epworth United Methodist Church, Valley City. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Valley City.
