Mark Korf, age 69, of Valley City, ND, died Monday, April 13th near Valley City, ND.  Mark’s wish was to have no memorial service held.  An online guestbook for Mark will be available at www.lerudmathias.com.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Traditions Funeral Services of Valley City, ND.  

Mark Allen Korf, the son of Raymond and Dixie (Kunz) Korf, was born October 26, 1956 in Valley City, ND.  Mark grew up in Valley City attending the Old Lincoln School and Valley City High School.  Mark moved to Heaton, ND for a time and later returned to Valley City.  Mark started working construction building house in and around Valley City. He also worked for Beyer Cement and later turned his hobby of cutting firewood into his own business which he was still actively doing at the time of his death.  Mark loved to visit with his family and friends and attending tractor and pickup pulling contests.  

Mark is survived by his stepmother, Patty Korf, Valley City, ND; three brothers, Kent (Linda) Korf, Sanborn, ND, Dick Korf, Valley City, ND and Dennis Korf, Glyndon, MN; two sisters, Diane Korf, Santa Fe, NM and Joy Korf, West Fargo, ND.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents and a brother Brent Korf.  Traditions Funeral Services of Valley City, ND.
