Mitchell SD (UJ) – The UJ mens golf team put together a resilient performance at Lakeview Municipal Golf Course, finishing 4th overall at the 2026 DWU Spring Invitational. Facing a competitive regional field, the Jimmies posted a three-round team total of +32.  

The squad opened the tournament with an 11-over-par first round and followed up with a 21-over-par second round. Baker University took home the team title with a score of +13.  

Mac Maluski anchored the Jimmie lineup with a standout performance, finishing in a tie for 4th place individually. Maluski was a model of consistency at the top of the leaderboard, firing a 1-under-par 70 in the opening round and an even-par 71 in the second, before finishing the tournament at +3.  

He was joined in the top 10 by Porter Seidel, who claimed a share of 8th place. Seidel finished at +8 for the tournament, highlighted by an even-par 71 in his final round.  

Jimmie Scoring Breakdown

The depth of the Jamestown roster was on display as the team battled through three rounds of play:

Carter Johnson: Finished in 13th place at +11. Johnson delivered the comeback of the tournament on the final day, carding a field-best 4-under-par 67 to climb the leaderboard.  

Bodie Williams: Earned a tie for 15th place with a total of +13. Williams finished his tournament strong with an even-par 71 in the third round.  

Cole Campbell: Tied for 36th place at +23 (78-78-80).  

Individual Highlights

Noah LawFinished in a tie for 15th place at +13. Law’s tournament was highlighted by a sharp 1-under-par 70 in the second round.  

Aidan HallFinished in a tie for 33rd place at +22. Hall showed steady improvement throughout the event, carding a 74 (+3) in his final round.
