Jerry Borg, age 80, of Valley City, ND, died Saturday, April 18th at her residence under HIA Hospice surrounded by her loving family.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, April 24th at Lerud Mathias Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be held on Friday evening at the Funeral Home starting at 6:00 PM.  An online guestbook and livestream of Jerry’s service will be available at www.lerudmathias.com.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Traditions Funeral Services of Valley City.  

Jerry Borg was born on January 20th, 1946 at Halfway, Missouri to Stew and Jean Turnbaugh.  Jerry and her family moved to Las Vegas in 1953 and she eventually worked in various positions within the grocery industry.  She married Ken Borg, who she loved to spoil, in 1970.  The couple moved from Nevada to Idaho before eventually moving to a farmstead near Valley City, North Dakota twenty-five years ago.  They spent many years enjoying vacations on the road in their motorhome.  She adored her pets, loved fishing, gardening, crocheting and cooking.  Her serveware collection was unmatched. 

She is survived by her husband Ken, stepchildren Diana Borg, Linda (Borg) Todd and Gary Borg; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her son Dean, daughter Janice and her parents. 

In lieu of flowers or cash memorials, the family would encourage donations to HIA Hospice, 3800 56th Ave. S, Fargo, ND 58104 in memory of Jerry.
