Spring is in full bloom, and the Stutsman County Master Gardener Program is inviting the community to take part in a colorful way to give back.
The group will host its annual Flower Fundraiser on Saturday, May 16, offering a wide selection of vibrant plants just in time for planting season. The pop-up sale will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Stutsman County Extension Office, and no pre-orders are required—simply stop by and shop.
Shoppers can choose from a variety of flowers, including popular options like begonias, geraniums, verbena, petunias, and thunbergia. Plants will be available in multiple sizes, with 4-inch flats priced at $6.50 and 10-inch hanging baskets available for $23.
Beyond brightening up gardens and patios, every purchase supports a larger community effort. Proceeds from the fundraiser help keep the local Garden Morning event free and accessible to the public. This year’s Garden Morning is scheduled for May 2 at the North Dakota Farmers Union building in Jamestown.
