Families and children are invited to attend a free planetarium show at the VCSU Planetarium on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
The presentation will take place at 11 a.m. in Room 309 of the Rhoades Science Center on the campus of Valley City State University. An elevator is available at the west entrance for easy access.
Featured during the program will be “Lila,” a charming short film that follows a cheerful caterpillar as she transforms into a butterfly. The show celebrates curiosity, growth, and the wonders of nature while introducing young audiences to the beauty of the natural world. The program is geared toward children ages 4 to 15.
The VCSU Planetarium regularly offers educational and entertaining programs for community members of all ages, providing opportunities to explore science, nature, and the universe in an immersive setting.
Admission is free and open to the public.
