Jamestown ND (Chamber) – Tom & Gale Scherbenske are helping make Jamestown more beautiful, and their efforts have earned them the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee’s Week #7 Yard of the Week Award for 2026.

Their stunning yard at 1502 14th Ave. SW stood out for its beautiful landscaping, excellent curb appeal, and the pride they take in maintaining their property. Their dedication helps create a welcoming atmosphere for neighbors and visitors alike.

As Week #7 winners, Tom & Gale received a $100 gift certificate to a local greenhouse, a Yard of the Week certificate, and the official Yard of the Week sign in recognition of their outstanding efforts.

The Yard of the Week program recognizes homeowners who make a positive impact on the appearance of Jamestown and continues through Aug. 28, with one winner selected each week from community nominations.
