The Arts Center in Jamestown will host a special screening of “Dakota Spotlight: Call Me Shelly” on Tuesday, September 15, at 7 p.m.

The 46-minute documentary explores the life, disappearance and enduring mystery surrounding Michele “Shelly” Julson, who disappeared from Bismarck in 1994.

More than 30 years later, questions remain about what happened to Julson. The film examines her life and disappearance through interviews, archival materials and original reporting, while also exploring the lasting impact her absence has had on her family, friends and the community.

The documentary was created by the filmmakers behind the Regional Emmy Award-winning documentary “The House on Sweet and Seventh.”

The screening will take place at The Arts Center, offering area residents an opportunity to learn more about Julson’s story and the decades-long mystery surrounding her disappearance. Get your tickets!
