Valley City, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Oct 24, 2013) — The Valley City Police Department is asking for help from the public as they look for a group of people accused of breaking into a man’s home, on October 18, 2013.
Reported stolen was a television and computer.
Valley City Police received the call just before 9:30 p.m., about the break in.
Philip Chirchir, said he was at home watching television when someone knocked on the door, and did not recognize the five black males and one female outside the door.
When he refused them entrance to the home, he says, one of the men displayed a black handgun and banged on the door breaking in the door. The homeowner call 9-1-1 from the bathroom.
He heard the suspects leave the home and discovered the items that were missing.
He says he saw the suspects leaving in a small, four door, sedan that was metallic silver.
