Jamestown ND (KCSi-T.V. News Nov 3, 2013) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a semi tractor-trailer roll over Sunday afternoon, at 1:50-p.m., injured a Virginia man.
54 year old, Narantsatsral Sharav-ish, of Alexandria, Virginia, was operating a 2001 Volvo semi and trailer eastbound on I-94, when the semi entered the median, crossed the median and continued traveling east in the westbound lanes for a short distance. The semi went back onto the median, then rolled over onto the driver’s side and came to stop, with the trailer blocking both westbound lanes.
Traffic was able to pass on the shoulder at reduced speeds.
The westbound lanes of Interstate 94 near Medina, were expected open by 7 p.m. Sunday.
The semi and trailer will remain in the median Sunday night and will be removed in daylight hours on Monday.
Sharav-ish was wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.
The semi was totaled. The crash remains under investigation.
The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office assiated at the scene.
