Man Struck, In Construction Zone Near Verona ND

VERONA (CSi)  —  The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports,  a 55 year old  California man was injured after he was struck by a pickup in a construction zone on  Hwy 13 MP305 3 miles west of Verona). The accident occurred about 7-p.m. on Friday evening during rain.

Sgt Luke Henrickson reports,   a pickup driven by 59 year old  Connie Braun of Leonard, struck 55-year old Robert Alan Noel of Ventura, California after he suddenly turned around into driving lane of the Braun vehicle.

Noel was transported to the Oakes Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries to his right leg and right hand .

LaMoure and Oakes Ambulance responded to the scene.
