frontiervillage2Jamestown, ND (CSi) Stutsman County Relay for Life has proposed decorating the World’s Largest Buffalo at The Frontier Village with a colored ribbon to support the nonprofit group.

Frontier Village Manager Colleen Conley says she had talked to a member of RFL about doing something with the buffalo landmark to draw attention to the local Relay for Life.

Frontier Village Association President Charlie Tanata says he does not have a problem with putting something on the giant buffalo sculpture, as long as it isn’t permanent, adding that the city of Jamestown owns the sculpture and the nonprofit would have to get permission from the city before it put anything on it.

The Frontier Village Association board also heard a report from Tanata saying that painting work on buildings in the village is almost completed for the year.

He said only some trim work needed to be done on a house next to the depot building known as Mary’s Place.
