“Chamber Checks” For Gift Giving

Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce has gift giving ideas.

On Friday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Chamber Executive, Felicia Sargeant said, the Chamber has available “Chamber Checks.”

She pointed out that residents can bring cash amounts to the Chamber office, which will be converted into checks of various denominations to give, and spend at participating Chamber businesses.

These are “real” checks, and can be spent in the amount indicated by the store receipt and change will be returned.

She asks that the checks be made out in smaller denominations so stores will not have to make large amounts of change.

The Chamber office has a list of participating stores.

She added that the Chamber Checks are available year ‘round.

Also, while supplies last, for $10 purchase a 2014 Ag and Energy Committee Calendar, with photos taken by local individuals, available at the Chamber Office, or Jamestown DMV.
