FARGO, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota State’s Brock Jensen has won more games than any other quarterback in the history of the Football Championship Subdivision. He wants just one more.
The senior signal-caller will cap off a stellar career on Saturday when the undefeated and top-seeded Bison face Towson for the FCS championship in Frisco, Texas.
Jensen has won 47 games with the Bison. Earlier this season he surpassed Armanti Edwards, who won 43 times while leading Appalachian State to three straight FCS titles from 2005 to 2007.
Jensen says the idea of his last game makes him sad, but he’s focusing on winning NDSU’s third straight FCS championship.
Jensen adds that he’s looking forward to the next chapter in his life, which his coaches say should include a pro tryout.
