Valley City, ND  (KCSi-T.V. News)  —  Valley City voters on November 6, 2012, will vote on an Ordinance during a Special Election.

On Monday, the Valley City Commission will vote on whether to approve a Resolution for the Special Election, for an Advisory Vote.

The  Ordinance would Amend, Update and Re-enact the Existing 1% City Sales Tax for an Additional 10 year term from January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2029, with the Dedication of Proceeds to Remain Unchanged.

Under law, the City of Valley City is required to provide for any extension of the City Sales Tax, and the specifics.
