Jamestown (CSi) The James River Valley Library System Library Board has set March 31, 2014, as a target date for finalizing the potentially new library project location.
The Library Board had originally planned on the former Essentia Clinic location which was sold to MetroPlains in October, and is currently looking at other options in Jamestown.
Library Director, Joe Rector says location options are at three.
The board met in executive session for about 45 minutes to discuss the real estate options.
The proposed timeline includes the library board going to the Jamestown City Council and the Stutsman County Commission for approval to purchase the property after the election. Closing date on the purchase is projected for November 30, 2014 with groundbreaking planned for Aug. 1, 2015.
