Valley City (CSi) It is Snow Week 2014  at Valley City High School this week. The students of VCHS have a variety of fun events planned for the week, including:
 
Monday’s Identity Swap Day in which students will choose someone else’s style to dress up like. Students will be able to play “Guess the Teacher’s Baby Picture” to win prizes. There will also be a Hallway Decorating Contest after school. 
 
Tuesday is Top Model Tuesday in which students “walk the halls of VCHS like it’s a runway.” 
 
Wednesday is Sweater Weather Wednesday – “Brr, it’s cold out there – wear your favorite cozy sweater.”
 
 Thursday is “Er” Day – “Are you a danc-er, a bak-er, a wrestl-er or some other –er? Dress up as what you aspire to be!” There will be pep rally for 7-12th grade students in the afternoon, followed by the varsity boys and girls basketball doubleheader that night against Fargo South. The Coronation of this year’s Snow Week King and Queen will take place immediately following the JV girl’s  game in the HiLiner Activity Center, and there will be several other special events during the games that night, as it is also “National Guard Night.” 
 
Friday is the traditional Blue & White Day as everyone dresses up to show their HiLiner Spirit at school that day.
 
Saturday is the semi-formal Snowball Dance  from 9-11:45 pm in the HAC Lobby.  
 
It’s going to be a great week to take a break from the mid-winter chill to have some fun at VCHS. Please make plans to join in the fun on Thursday night in the HAC!
