Library Board Learns Of “Significant Contribution”

Jamestown (CSi) The James River Valley Library System Board has learned that a donor is interested in giving a “significant contribution” to the library….a house. Proceeds from from the sale is planned to go toward a historical or heritage area in the new library

The James River Valley Library System will apply for grants for a new bookmobile and electronic devices.

The bookmobile grant request would be for $74,000 from U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development. Should the grant request be accepted, the current 18-year-old bookmobile would be replaced.
