Valley City (CSi) The deadline to file to run in the June 10, 2014 elections was Monday at 4-p.m.

For the Valley City,  city elections, Valley City City Auditor Avis Richter says those filing to run in the April 10, 2014 city elections are:

For Mayor: The incumbent Robert Werkhoven, and Jeff Edwards

For 2 City Commission seats: Matt Pedersen and Duane Magnuson-incumbents, and Gary Schlegel.

For City Park Board the three incumbents have filed: Mike Lentz, Buff Murray, and Susan Kringlie.

The filed petitions will then be reviewed to make sure they contain the proper number of valid signatures.

The elections will be held on June 10, 2014.
