FARGO, N.D. (AP) – Residents in North Dakota’s largest city are ready to celebrate the premiere of “Fargo” the TV show, along with a homegrown actor who plays a part in the series.

“FARGO” the TV series, airs Tues at 9pm on CSi Cable 40 – FX.  

The show premieres on FX (CSi Cable 40) at 9-p.m Tuesday April 15.   A premiere party will be held Tuesday night at the historic Fargo Theater in Fargo.

North Dakota native Tom Musgrave, who plays Freeman’s boss in the show, will attend the premiere in Fargo and take the stage for a question-and-answer session afterward. Musgrave was born in Bottineau and grew up in Valley City. Musgrave says he had an advantage with his North Dakota background and jokes that he was the “expert on set.”

Valley City actor Tom Musgrave is “Bo Munk” and appears in 5 of the 10 episodes.

Oscar® winner Billy Bob Thornton stars as “Lorne Malvo,” a rootless, manipulative man who meets and forever changes the life of small town insurance salesman “Lester Nygaard,” played by BAFTA Award® winner and Emmy®-nominated Martin Freeman.

Colin Hanks plays Duluth Police Deputy “Gus Grimly,” a single dad who must choose between his own personal safety and his duty as a policeman when he comes face-to-face with a killer.

Allison Tolman also stars as “Molly Solverson,” an ambitious Bemidji deputy.
