A lunch was served, with hot dogs and burgers, with a free will offering, plus there was face painting, and a “dog kissing both,” all proceeds benefiting the local shelter.
On Friday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, President, Matt Opsahl said the shelter is in need of volunteers, cleaning supplies collars, leases and blankets. A drop box is located at Hugo’s in Jamestown.
The James River Humane Society is located off the I-94 Bloom Exit.
