On Wednesday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Relay for Life spokesperson, Pam Phillips said the event will be on Saturday, and returns to the football stadium location.

She said the theme this year is “Super Heroes,” and will include a Super Heroes Costume Competition at 8-p.m., on Saturday…open to adults and children. The winner will be determined by the amount of money collected, donated to Relay for Life.
She pointed out, this year’s Honorary Co-Chairs are cancer survivors Judy Hager, and Ruby Duciaome (de-sewm).

She added that Luminaries will be set up on Saturday starting at 10-a.m., at the UJ track, with volunteers welcome to help, and camps will start setting up at noon on Saturday.
Anyone wishing to set up a tent for the night is asked to call Pam Phillips at 701-252-8471.
She pointed out that golf carts will be available to bring individuals to the track from the parking lot.
Opening Ceremonies will begin on Saturday the 21st at 6-p.m., with the Knight of Columbus Color Guard, the Jamestown Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Jamestown High School Jazz Ensemble will also entertain, followed by the Survivors and Caregivers Victory Lap, and then the Introduction of Teams, and the start of Team Laps.
The Luminary Ceremony starts at 9:30-p.m., with the presentation of the names.
The Fight Back Ceremony is at 11:30-p.m., and the Sunrise Service and Final Lap occurs at 5-a.m., and participants are welcome to stay and help with clean up at 5:30-a.m.
Other activities will include: a bounce house, bingo, a scavenger hunt, relay races, and activities all night, in addition to the Relay Store, located on the field, a Silent Auction, Vendors, and teams selling food and mementos.
She said that proceeds raised after costs, will go to Relay for Life.
