Los Angeles (CSi) “Fargo” the TV show is in the running for the Critics’ Choice Television Awards, category of Best Miniseries, tying with four other shows or movies for the most nominations this year.
The nominations were announced Wednesday by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association.
Along with “Fargo,” nominated for Best Miniseries were: “American Horror Story: Coven,” “Bonnie & Clyde,” “Dancing on the Edge,” “The Hollow Crown” and “Luther.”
The 10-episode FX series, inspired by the Coen brothers’ 1996 black comedy film, also received four acting nominations, including: Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman for best actor in a movie or miniseries, Colin Hanks for best supporting actor in a movie or miniseries, and Allison Tolman for best supporting actress in a movie or miniseries
“Fargo,” is seen on Tuesday evening’s at 9-p.m., on CSi 40-FX.
The awards show will be live on June 19, 2014, on CW, CSi Cable 37.
