VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) – A 92-year-old Valley City woman who was struck by a pickup truck has died.
Rita Weber had been hospitalized in Fargo since being struck in a crosswalk on June 22. Valley City police say she died on Monday.
No charges have been filed against the 32-year-old driver, but authorities are continuing to investigate.

Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson says the driver, 32 year old Robert Mittleider was Northbound on Central Avenue North making a left tern onto 6th Street Northwest.
Mittleider says he did not to see Rita Webber crossing the street in the crosswalk and struck her with his vehicle.
Webber was transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment and later transferred by Life Flight to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
Police say neither alcohol nor speed was a factor in the accident.
Mittleider wascited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way to a Pedestrian.
