Airline Boardings In Jmst. “Impressive” – June 2014

Jamestown (CSi) Boardings on United Express/SkyWest Airlines in June this year were impressive, with just a partial month in boardings.

The Jamestown flights started on June 5, 2014, and Jamestown Regional Airport Manger, Matt Leitner said there were 334 boardings, which were more than any single month under the previous air carrier Great Lakes Airlines.

Leitner points out that the 334 boardings in June was the best number since March of 2012, with the carrier at that time Delta, which offered a comparable aircraft.

The June 5-30, 2014 boardings compare to Great Lakes Airline numbers of 218 boardings in 2013 and 175 in June of 2012.

Leitner said Jamestown may be looking at  600 boardings for July, that would make it the best July for boardings since 1978.
