Barnes 4-H Achievment Days July 11-12

Valley City (CSi) The Annual Barnes County 4-H Achievement Days Show is at the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center building, Jul 11-12, 2014.

The static exhibits open for public viewing, beginning at 1-p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014 , and continue on Saturday.

All events are free and open to the public.

Activities include project exhibits, small animal and large animal exhibits, dog obedience and showmanship along with a premium sale supper.

Projects include baking, woodworking, gardening, drawing, showing animals and more.

Projects are judged and ribbons awarded in each project class, with the top exhibitors moving on to compete at the ND State Fair.

On Friday, small animals, dogs, cats, pets, poultry and rabbits judging begins at 1-p.m., with the dog show at 5:30-p.m.

Large animals will be judged on Saturday, beginning at 9:30a.m.

At the conclusion, there will be a trophy presentation and premium sale Saturday at 7-p.m.
