UND3GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) – New faculty and administrators at the University of North Dakota are going on a three-day tour of the state next month.

The event is meant to give the new staff a look at the state and introduce them to alumni and others.   This year’s event starts on Aug. 18.

Planned stops include Hillsboro, Jamestown, Edgeley, Bismarck, Medora, Washburn, Cooperstown and Mayville.

Former UND President Tom Clifford started the bus tour 24 years ago.  Each year, the tour alternates between northern and southern routes across the state.
