UJ CoronationUniversity of Jamestown Homecoming Coronation

On Friday, September 26th Kadie Savage and Derek Roemmich were named Homecoming Queen and King. Savage is a Biology major from Princeton Minnesota. The daughter of Jason and Kelly, she is highly active, being involved with Women’s Basketball, Track and Field, Fellowship of Athletes in Christ, Ambassadors, Ignition, Science Club, and Tri-Beta. Roemmich is a Math and Math Education major and Character in Leadership minor from Linton, ND. He is the son of Ross and Monica Roemmich. He stays busy at the U of J by being involved in Track and Field, Football, Ignition, the Knights Society, and choir.

The queen’s court consisted of the following: Taylor Lammers, a Music Education major and Character in Leadership minor from Kindred, ND; Rachel Nyhus, an English Education major and Character in Leadership minor from Harvey, ND; Karson Pederson, a Political Science and Psychology major from Watford City, ND; Jessica Steinwand, an Elementary Education major with a Character in Leadership minor from Bismarck, ND; and Andrea Toepke-Floyd, a Nursing major with a Character in Leadership minor from Wishek, ND.

The king’s court included the following: Ryan Adkins, a Biology major from Victoria, BC; Bradley Brooks, a Psychology major from Mesa, AZ; Nicholas Crannell, a Nursing major with a Spanish minor from Agua Dulce, CA; Ben Eastwell, an Exercise Science major from Norwich, UK; and James Romelflanger, a Political Science major with a History and Communications minor from Tinton Falls, NJ.

The University of Jamestown was established in 1883 and is ranked as a top regional school in both US News and World Report and The Princeton Review.  The school features development of the whole person through its distinctive Journey to Success experience.
