WAHPETON (AP) The North Dakota attorney general has called for an independent review of a drug task force based in Wahpeton.
KFGO radio reports that Wayne Stenehjem (STEN’-jem)’s order to investigate the Southeast Multi-County Agency comes after the disappearance and death of North Dakota State College of Science student Andrew Sadek.
Sadek had been facing drug-related charges. His mother says the drug task force pressured her son to work with them.
Sadek was last seen leaving his dorm in May. His body was found in the Red River near Breckenridge, Minnesota, in June. He died from a gunshot wound to the head.
