Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Salvation Army Coats for Kids distribution starts today (Mon. Oct. 13, 2014)
More than 200 children’s coats have been donated to the program.
Wal-Mart gave the Salvation Army a grant for $300 allowing the purchase of another 8 oto 10 coats.
Other area businesses that have helped donate coats include Ave Maria Village and Blue Star Dry Cleaning and Beyond.
There is a need for snow boots, including children’s winter boots.
Items may be dropped off at the Salvation Army office, on 1st Avenue North in Jamestown.
