CHI events Breast Cancer Awareness Wk

Valley City (CSi)  The CHI Mercy Health radiology department in Valley City.is hosting a number of events during “Breast Cancer Awareness Week.”

The Pink pumpkin decorating contest starts Monday.

Drop by decorated Pink pumpkin in the radiology department.

Voting is going on  all week for  favorite pumpkin.

Tuesday, October 14 is Wear Pink Day.

Wednesday, October 15 a Bake sale will be held in the cafeteria from 11am to 1p.m., with proceeds going  toward local counseling group sessions at the hospital.

Thursday, October 16 the radiology department holds  a mammography open house from 11a.m. to 2p.m.

Balloons  will be released, with the local Girl Scout Troops at 4p.m. to honor survivors and loved ones lost.

Friday, October 17  it’s the closing celebration for Breast Cancer Awareness Week from 2p.m. to 4p.m.

Treats  will be offered and the winner of the Pink pumpkin decorating contest will be announced.
