ndhpFARGO (CSi)  On Friday October 10, 2013  the North Dakota Highway　Patrol conducted a sobriety checkpoint Dickey Count. The checkpoint was held from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the junction of North Dakota State Highways 1 and 11. A total of 63 vehicles drove through the checkpoint. There were no drivers tested for impairment and no arrests were made at the checkpoint.

An alcohol saturation of Dickey, LaMoure and Sargent counties was conducted after the checkpoint, as well as a saturation of the area on Saturday October 11th. During those saturations, the following activity was reported:

1 arrest was made for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

1 arrest was made for Minor in Possession of Alcohol

1 arrest was made for Delivering Alcohol to a Minor

4 citations were issued for Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle　

29 traffic citations were issued

32 traffic warnings were issued
