Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Planning Commission has recommended replatting property that could clear the way for an extended-stay hotel.

The property is at the 500 block of 24th Street Southwest, west of Mac’s hardware store.

The approval is on a plat request for Bender’s First Addition. The plat combines property from lot 4 of block 1, Uncle Bob’s Second Addition, and lot 4 of block 1, Dakota Inn addition.

The private party requesting the replat is looking at building a three-story, 46-unit “My Place Hotel,” an extended-stay hotel, that has hotels in Fargo, Bismarck, Dickinson and Williston.
