Man arrested charged with assault

Valley City (CSi) Valley City Police report that on Wednesday November 5^th at about 9:45 pm officers responded to a reported stabbing,

23 year-old Faisal Mohammed allegedly attempted to contact an unidentified individual inside an apartment for money he was owed.

When 23 year-old Sharmke Abudulle answered the door, Mohammed allegedly brandished a knife and cut Abudulle.

Abudulle was treated at the scene with a minor laceration to his neck.

Mohamed was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, and taken to the Barnes County Corrections Center.
