SheriffStutsJamestown (CSi)  Jamestown Police continue with its investigation stemming from a vehicle pursuit that occurred Thursday evening in Jamestown.

Assistant Chief John Johnson says the chase started about 8:30-p.m. in the 1300 block of 4th Avenue Northwest, and continued as  the individual eluded  police through the northwest,  northeast, then southeast, as the individual lost police out of town.

The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office and the North Dakota Highway Patrol assisted in the chase.

Authorities are looking for the vehicle and driver, having the make and license plate number.  Information on what led to the pursuit is not available.

The public does not need to be on the lookout for the vehicle.
