SheriffStutsJamestown (CSi) Stutsman County Official’s assisted local agencies in the rescue of a man trapped nearly up to his chest, in a grain bin last Thursday.

The Kensal Fire Department, Carrington Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, and Jamestown and Carrington Ambulance Services responded to a call about 12:30-p.m. of a man trapped in a bin of soybeans at Kensal Farmers Elevator Co. He was later identified as Dave Jones.

Carrington Volunteer Fire and Rescue  used extraction equipment, a grain rescue tube,  to rescue him.

Rescuers assembled the tube to remove grain between the inside of the tube, and Jones.

Carrington Ambulance transported him to the Carrington Health Center,where he was treated and released.

Kensal Farmers Elevator, General Managerm Cris Breidebach Jones is now in good condition.
