Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — CaravanSerai: Act Two, will present two public film screenings in Jamestown.
The second Moroccan artist to visit Jamestown is, award-winning filmmaker, Hakim Belabbes
On Tuesday’s (Oct 30, 2012) Wayne Byers Show, on CSi Cable 2, Jamestown Arts Center Director, Taylor Barnes said the first screening of the film will be on Sunday November 11, 2012, at 5-p.m., at the Arts Center, followed by a dinner.

The second screening is November 12, 2012 at 7-p.m., at Jamestown College, Westminster/Nafus Hall, Level 2.
Both Screenings are free, and the Jamestown College screening has received additional support from the college’s Convocation Committee.

With other Arts Center notes, Ms. Barnes said Michael Whistler from Valley City has a new album on the acoustic guitar, entitled, “Until Then.”
She pointed out that his performance at the Jamestown Arts Center will be Friday November 30, 2012. Tickets are available at the Arts Center, at $7 for members and $10 for non-members.

Ms. Barnes said “An Artful Happy Hour,” will be held November 13, 2012 at 5-p.m., at the Hansen Studio, with the project, Cocktail Glass & Beer Stein Etching.
Then on December 11, 2012 at 5-p.m., also at the Hansen Studio the project will be Putting Wine Corks to Good Use.
She adds, An Artful Happy Hour is held the second Tuesday of each month for a social hour, and an artful activity. Participation is free, and if you choose, bring along the beverage of your choice.
Ms. Barnes added that the current exhibit runs through December 1, 2012, “Sticks & Stones,” recent ceramics by Brad Bachmeier. An exhibit reception and gallery talk with Bachmeier will be Friday November 30, 2012, at the Arts Center Gallery at 5:30-p.m.
On Saturday December 1, 2012, Bachmeier will hold a Ceramics Workshop, Hand-building plates, mugs or vessels with templates and textures, from 9:30-a.m., to 12:30-p.m. The cost is $60 for Arts Center members and $70 for non-mmbers.
