Valley City High School Student Council Advisor, Angela Van Bruggen says, the week kicks off on Monday, Feb. 9 with the Community Pep Fest & Coronation Ceremony. The Pep Fest will be held at 7:00 pm in the Hi-Liner Activity Center. This FREE community event will consist of the pep band, cheerleaders, & dance team firing up Valley City with some Hi-Liner Spirit, an introduction of all the athletes participating in Hi-Liner winter sports, and followed by a ceremony featuring the VCHS Swing Choir to crown the 2015 Snow Week King and Queen. The DECA store will be open throughout the evening for the public to purchase Hi-Liner apparel. Following coronation at 8:00, the public is encouraged to stay at the HAC to take in the annual Junior vs. Senior Boys PowderBuff Volleyball game, a fundraiser for the VCHS Student Council. Tickets are $4. Please join us on Monday for these fun events!
